Renowned for her compassionate approach to high-quality care, she has earned admiration from both patients and colleagues.

Over the years, Dr Osuji has held various leadership roles, such as being the lead clinician for haemato-oncology/MDT/Chemotherapy for 10 years, lead for haemostasis and thrombosis from 2014 to 2015, and Head of Department from 2012 to 2015. She led numerous successful peer reviews of the haemato-oncology MDT and chemotherapy services and was instrumental in implementing electronic chemotherapy prescribing.

Since 2015, Dr Osuji has assumed extensive executive NHS leadership and continues to provide clinical care at Nuffield Parkside Hospital. Her commitment to patients and her outstanding contributions have made her highly esteemed in her field.

Dr Mark Hill is an esteemed consultant medical oncologist based in Maidstone. With over 35 years of experience, he specialises in colorectal cancer, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, antibody therapy, personalised medicine and molecular targeting.

Dr Hill qualified in medicine from the University of London in 1986 before going on to pursue specialist training in medical oncology at Guy’s Hospital. He attained membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1989 and was awarded a highly sought-after clinical fellowship with the Cancer Research Campaign in 1991. During this period, he undertook research into molecularly targeted cancer treatment in clinical and laboratory settings. In recognition of the excellence of his research, he was awarded an MD from the University of London in 1996. Several years later, Dr Hill completed his clinical training at the Royal Marsden Hospital and was appointed as a consultant medical oncologist. In 2003, he was awarded fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and the position of lead medical oncologist of the Kent Cancer Network. Dr Hill currently serves as clinical director of the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Clinical Research Network and as a consultant medical oncologist with the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Foundation Trust. He also sees private patients at GenesisCare Maidstone and the Kent Oncology Centre.

Additional to his clinical responsibilities, Dr Hill also serves as a founding trustee of the Kent Cancer Trust and sits on the National Cancer Research Institute’s advanced colon cancer trials sub-committee. He has also held the position of honorary senior lecturer at the University of Kent since 2004. Dr Hill has published extensively in academic journals and remains actively involved in research as a principal investigator. He is closely involved with numerous clinical trials relating to innovative treatment approaches, in which many of his patients take part. Throughout his career, Dr Hill’s work has been recognised with a number of prizes, including a research award from the Royal College of Physicians in 2018. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Association of Cancer Physicians, and the European Society for Medical Oncology.

Mr Sanjay Miranda is a highly respected consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in hand, upper limb and peripheral nerve conditions. Based in Teesside, he receives referrals from Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington, Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, Durham, Tyneside, Wearside and Cumbria. He is renowned for his expertise in hand and wrist surgery and the treatment of nerve entrapment, including carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndromes, and arm pain. He receives tertiary referrals from consultant colleagues for hand and wrist cases, and also many recommendations from previous patients.

Mr Miranda qualified in medicine from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1993 before pursuing specialist training in orthopaedic surgery at various hospitals across the Midlands. He then specialised in hand, upper limb and peripheral nerve surgery. In 2004, he completed a year-long interface hand surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby. Following this, he undertook a senior fellowship in Sydney, Australia at The Royal North Shore Hospital relating to peripheral nerve surgery, microsurgery, cerebral palsy and nerve injuries amongst other highly specialised aspects of hand and upper limb surgery. He also did an upper limb fellowship at the North Sydney and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Centre gaining experience in sports injuries.

In 2005, he was appointed as a consultant and acquired a wealth of expertise and experience in all areas of hand, upper limb and peripheral nerve surgery through his work in a major trauma centre at James Cook University Hospital for 14 years. During this time, Mr Miranda was awarded a postgraduate diploma in hand surgery from the University of Manchester in 2011 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons as a trauma and orthopaedics specialist. He established his private practice in 2006 and sees private patients at Woodlands Hospital in Darlington, Nuffield Health Tees Hospital in Stockton-on-Tees and Ramsay Tees Valley Hospital in Middlesbrough.

Throughout his busy career, Mr Miranda has held a number of senior positions, including as part of a multidisciplinary team treating major trauma to the upper limb and trust mortality lead for North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, which has been his NHS base since 2019. He is a former anatomy demonstrator for the University of Nottingham and continues to teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates in hand surgery. Mr Miranda has authored several academic papers which have appeared in peer-reviewed medical journals, and maintains an active interest in research. He has co-authored a chapter on the wrist in the 2nd edition of the Oxford Handbook of Hand Surgery. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Professor Miles Levy is a consultant endocrinologist at  The University Hospital of Leicester and an Honorary Associate Professor at Leicester University. He specialises in adrenal, pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, male endocrinology, female endocrinology, and endocrine tumours. Dr Levy sees patients with the full range of endocrine conditions and is also a general physician, continuing to do acute general medical on calls and giving urgent specialist advice for endocrine conditions. 

Professor Levy’s NHS practice is at Leicester Royal Infirmary where he is a full-time consultant, and he does endocrinology research at Leicester University. He runs a research programme looking at the role of circulating DNA is diagnosing endocrine tumours. His main research interests include pituitary and adrenal tumours, and the genetics of endocrine disease. Dr Levy qualified in 1994 from the Royal London Hospital, trained as a specialist endocrinologist in London, where he also did his research MD before moving to Leicester.

Professor Levy specialises in all aspects of general and specialist endocrinology. He is well known in pituitary disease, writes numerous books and chapters in pituitary disorders, and does international work in areas of pituitary endocrinology. He has appeared on local and national radio numerous times regarding thyroid disease and is published in the role of virtual clinics and hyperthyroidism. He writes the UHL guidelines for calcium and parathyroid disorders and is the lead endocrinologist for the joint calcium-parathyroid surgical clinic in Leicester. He runs a busy female and male endocrine reproductive service in UHL and works closely with gynaecology and andrology colleagues both within Leicester and around the UK for specialist care. Dr Levy has an interest in disorders of the pancreas, adrenal cortex and medulla, running a busy adrenal clinic joint with the HPB surgeons in UHL. He works closely with the Clinical Genetics and Paediatric Endocrinology services to ensure a joined-up clinical experience for patients and their families. Dr. Levy also runs an endocrine investigation unit for complex tests, and his specialist endocrine nurse offers dynamic endocrine investigation in the private sector.

Dr Levy contributes to the world of endocrinology outside treating patients in order to improve endocrine services in the NHS and elsewhere, and is committed to the training of specialist endocrinologists. Amongst other past and present activities, Dr Levy is the Training Programme Director Diabetes and Endocrinology, Chair of the East Midlands Endocrine Society, Editor in Chief of the lead UK Endocrinology Website ‘You and Your Hormones’, Clinical Committee and Public Engagement Committee for Society for Endocrinology (SfE). Dr Levy is the media advisor for the SfE, having appeared on local BBC and national radio about a range of endocrine conditions and presenting several podcasts on endocrinology. He is very active in under- and post-graduate education; he co-writes the endocrinology chapter for main medical school textbook (Kumar & Clarke) and is co-author of Endocrinology at a Glance. Dr Levy is editor of the pituitary section of ‘EndoText’, a global online resource, and is the education lead for endocrinology at Leicester Medical School. He gives regular lectures locally, regionally and nationally, and co-wrote the UK undergraduate curriculum.
